COVID 19 Update:

As of 4th July 2020, we are happy to announce that we shall be opening our doors to welcome our valued guests back once again. However due to the unprecedented times we are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic we will be operating a little differently. This is to ensure we can prioritise the safety and security of all of our guests. We hope you will understand that we will be implementing all necessary measures in place to safeguard our guests and staff in alignment with Government guidelines.

The following guidelines have been put in place for the safety of all our guests and staff at Tower Lodge. Please consider each other when moving around the building and respect social distancing.

• Please sanitise your hands when entering the building.

• At present the sitting room and dining room will be temporarily closed, except by arrangement for those of the same households or support bubbles.

• Please note that communal bathroom and toilet will be temporarily closed to guests until further notice.

• All of the surfaces in the communal area will be cleaned and sanitised throughout the day.

• Guests are encouraged to wash their hands regularly throughout their stay.

• High touch areas such as light switches and door handles will be regularly sanitised and cleaned throughout the day.

• Additional cleaning measures have been put in place in both guest rooms and all other areas of the hotel during change overs.

• All room keys will be sanitised and cleaned between guest stays.

• We are following all advisories in relation to hand washing, social distancing and upholding our 5-star hygiene rating.

• We shall not enter your room during your stay to protect our guests and ourselves.

• If you require fresh towels during your stay please put them in the plastic bag (found in the wardrobe), seal and leave outside your room.

• Clean towels, linen and toilet rolls will be left in a basket outside your room. Please leave this back outside your room for collection.

• If you wish to have your hospitality tray replenished, please also leave this outside your room.

 

Breakfast:

We will not be offering a hot breakfast in our dining room at present. However, we will be offering a delicious takeaway breakfast with a hot or continental option for our guests to choose from if they wish. We kindly ask that you complete the order form in your room and leave in the basket on the hall table on the day by 7.00 am. We will then leave the breakfast bags outside your room between 8.30-9.00 am that day.

 

Payment:

To minimise physical contact and the spread of the virus full payment will need to be settled the day before arrival. This can be done either through card payment over the phone or a bank transfer (Guest full name as reference).

Check in and Out:

We will offer our guest on their arrival the choice to either greet them in person to check them in at an agreed arrival time, whist maintaining social distance. Or if you feel more comfortable, we can organise to leave your keys in a sealed envelope in our porch just before your agreed arrival time. Similarly check out we will follow a similar procedure, where you can your keys on the table before you vacate the property.

 

Contracting Symptoms:

If you/your household members develop COVID-19 symptoms or have had suspected or confirmed COVID-19 within the last 14 days prior to your stay please do inform us immediately. We will have to cancel your visit, but we can work together to look to accommodate your reservation at a later date.

If you develop symptoms of COVID-19 during your stay, you must inform us immediately and you will be asked to leave the premises to minimise the risk of spread of infection, again we will look to look to accommodate the remaining part of your reservation at a later date.
